More snow needed but it's coming

THERE still isn't enough snow to open the whole mountain but the next week is looking good. 

The resort opened the run under the Alpen quad on Sunday and Monday but have roped it off again.

It's been quite mild with a few light falls since our first big dump about a week ago.

Bluebird skies and a couple of inches of powder yesterday afternoon and overnight provided good conditions for a little slide this morning.

It's a bit hard to predict yet but it looks like the weather should turn on again in the next few days which should bring us enough to really kick the season off.
